Description:
Impeller log or patent log, made of metal, possibly brass but uncertain, not rusty. In the shape of an arrow but with propeller wings on it. Used to tow behind ships to record the knots and speed of ships. Used during WWII era. Says on "cherub" and has a drawing in the shape of an anchor. In another place says "T. Walker & Sons Ltd. Birmingham, England".
