Donor was a relief chief cook on Canada Steamships Line. The flag was presented to the donor. House flag of the Steamship line.
Flag, synthetic, cm. x cm., background one horizontal white stripe flanked by two horizontal red stripes. Centre Centre of flag is printed with one vertical black stripe with a centrally located stylized red maple leaf with 11 points.
The flag is attatched to a black plastic stand with circular base thin pole and round tip. The flag is a lightweight synthetic material. A red maple leaf with 11 points and a stem is on the center of the flag surrounded by a long black rectangle background. A square composed of a red, white then red horizontal stripe surrounds the left and right side of the long black rectangle. The far left of the flag is a white sewn sleeve that covers the black plastic pole and is fastened by glue around the top of black plastic pole.
