Jacket, Air Force

WWII, RCAF, light navy blue, wool, dress jacket. 4 pockets and 4 brass buttons, all with RCAF logo. Also a belt with both a buckle and a snap. On left breast is a crown, brown wreath and RCAF, with 2 wings, symbolizing wearer was a pilot. Cuffs have a dark navy band with light blue inside. 2 blue "Canada" flashes for shoulders found in a pocket. These didn't have to be sewn onto unifrom until wearer left their country of origin. Lined inside with a purple satin lining. Tag states "John R. Joyce Exclusive Tailor, Welland, Ont."
